Add Polygon chain

Follow these instructions to add the Polygon / Matic Network to your Metamask account

Step 1 - Open Metamask and click on “Settings”.

Step 2 - From the menu that opened select the item "Networks".

Step 3 - Select “Add network” in the drop-down menu.

Step 4 - A form opens with 5 fields to fill in, copy and paste the following information (if in doubt, see the image below):

Network Name: Polygon

New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com/

Chain ID: 137

Currency Symbol: Matic Block Explorer

URL: https://explorer.matic.network

Step 5 - Click "Save". Polygon network has been added, now you can view your assets that you have on Polygon chain. If you want to view the assets you have on the Ethereum or BSC chain, you can switch from one network to another by simply clicking on text "Polygon" on top of your Metamask window and change the chain, vice versa to return to the Polygon chain click on the name of the chain (example Smartchain, Mainnet, etc. ) and the chain menu opens, at which point click again on Polygon.

As an alternative to the process seen in the previous points, the Polygon network can be added by going to this link and clicking on the "Add Polygon Network" button found on the footer of the page.
